Fair enough I have raised money before for folks like you. Believe me I
never expected a favor or anything like that. Just trying to see if a one
time fundraiser would help your situation. I can very much see your
point of view good luck. I figured you deserved one of us asking you
about it at the least. The way you do it is in a blind manner so no one
would know who gave and who did not. Also a condition of giving is
agreeing to the anonomous terms. I did think it out when I did it. I
do want to make sure this is a viable economic business so we don't
lose it.

Also for those that like to use a home button a lot like I do, the header picture itself also takes you back to the home page if you click on it. That may change though if we get the rotating header picture working properly.

Right now it is called UCP (user control panel) under the Nav Bar. I still have to re-name it.

Pretty easy to get a Google Adsense account but a large banner ad under the graphic would change the look of the site. You could probably place an ad every 4-5 posts on a thread. They are a little disruptive ... but thats ads for you. You also can't be asking people to click on ads or they will dump you

Not at all interested in Google AdSense. Too many spam ads. I would prefer to only have locally based businesses involved. I have a few interested parties already......

I can work with this... there is no extra looking around involved, and the navbar is right there any time you want it without having to run back up the page. Considering my very mediocre typing skills, any time saved is fine with me. go C-Bob... flag waver

Gee. I'm actually getting used to the new format and liking it. Now it may be there and I have just not seen it, but what I would love is something to help some of us "spelling challanged" posters, you know a spell checker.

Seriously I just ran this through a spell checker and will change the spelling to "challenged"

Oh something else, I think it would be cool to increase the time allowed for editing our posts. Maybe doubling the time. That way if I did something really stupid, I could correct my error before too many of you spotted it :)

What ever you do, it's getting better and better.

I just thought of adding this, and luckily I still had time. At this moment my ISP is working well and using the navbar I was able to get the "Lake Chapala WebCam link to work. Would it also be a good idea to add the link to the chapalaweather.net link? With those two links those of us who are homesick could not only see the lake, but know about the weather, as well

I love your last comment. I wish there were such a tool. If you will notice the last sentence of the previous post, I had to go in and change the spelling of "to" to "two", seriously :)

Since I would never claim to be a techie such as yourself but when I misspell a word when posting, a red line appears below the word. I have never used the spelling correction that appears but since I am admittedly anal about poor grammar and misspelled words, I do find the correction before finalizing my post.

Sorry Pete but the Chapalaweather.net comes with too much baggage. Me and that baggage parted company a few years ago.........who needs it anyways as it is always sunny. Use the live cam to figure out the rest.....jajajaja. I can adjust the edit time.
