Lucky Girl: You mentioned Bad Toelz. I lived near there in Oberammergau which was maybe 15 Km from Garmisch. Those were the good old days, before one had to worry about "the virus". I wish all of you the best during these scary times.

Mexicopete the only infections the soldiers had to worry about was gonnoreah. Today it is antibiotic resistent.

Pete, we enjoyed our time in Bavaria-- especially my husband, he worked in Munich, only problem he used to have was with those darn roads at Oktoberfest time, he claimed driving home late, after he'd entertained foreigners for his company at the Wiesen, they got even curvier than normal...

Mexico now reporting 316 confirmed cases. That's +65 in the past 24 hours. I think Italy and the US are going to surpass China in a week or so at the rate they are climbing.

The rate has being going up at a higher rate than that in other places. It’s probably lack of testing.
It has being said that actual cases is 10 times what is reported.

Actually Bob I think its already starting to happen. What I am getting from my Mexican neighbors is that on Sunday the police were turning away Tapatio's in Jocotepec as well as in Chapala.

I hooe that's true, a little late (!), but better than not.

We are a bit of a laughing stock in Europe. I saw the front page of a German newspaper admonishing AMLO for his lack of leadership in the face of disaster with the photo of him at his rally walking the gauntlet touching the hands of the throngs of thousands of his fans. Like some kind of rock star.

Bet Alfaro runs for Presidente next time. At least he is a leader of the people!
