At 7:45 pm, the Riberas station was dark and closed.

Just got home from doing the gas circuit, la Canacinta, Ajijic (Barco), Libra, riberas and Chapala Highway all closed with signs that say no gas. This is no joke this shortage. Let’s hope it gets sorted soon.

Sort of a Catch 22, driving around using gas trying to find a place to buy some. There is the point of diminishing returns in operation here.

I'll bet parking is easier now with most likely less traffic..

For sure, no gas in Riberas but I just got home from the two block square that I drive to find out. There are, however, cars lining up on the street beside it down to the lake. I just came home. Sigh.

you guys could have a list of all the fas station around and someone from that area or who happened to go buy could report gas line length and time and no one would have to drive very far.

How does distribution *normally* work? Pipelines to distribution centers in cities then trucks to various stations in cities and to outlying pueblos? Pipelines directly to city stations? Outlying pueblos receive trucks directly from distribution centers or pipelines? 

Either way we are rural and probably on the low end of the totem pole. Kinda like our internet, we get the leftovers that trickle down.

Good question. I would also like to know exactly how distribution usually works.

On the way to Guadalajara yesterday, no gas anywhere between Tizapan and Costco. Coming back, the same until Tuxcueca, long line, they had gas, same in Tizapan, which is a station where locals normally do not get gas, there have been many problems over the years.
Most of us have not problems, since it is just a short trip to Cojumatlan , and Michoacan has Gas.

Yes, that gas app doesn't function very well. I guess not enough are reporting in to it. I don't know how to.

I got a full tank and a bote 22 liter in El Chante after a friend told me there was a pipa in SJC around noon When I was in line in El Chante a second pipa came thru on the way to Joco. I went to the GasGas app to report but it would not accept the update. The app also shows gas available in Tuxcueca and Teocuitatlan for weeks, but not so.
In this area, loaded pipas come from the East and return empty to the East. There was a long line of cars following each with state police escort. Still no deliveries to San Juan Cosala for a couple of days.

Just drove by riberas station at 2:50 pm, they have gas, line up is about 3km’s long.

No gas in SJC at 3.

The Pemex east of Piedra Barrenda has gas now. The line isn't too bad.

Just got gas in Riberas, the line up is better, 20-30 minute wait, 500 pesos limit. Good luck gas hunters!
