Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think Yuri's post was criticising (criticizing) the spelling, but merely pointing out that it's "word of mouth"!

I'm willing to give the poster the benefit of the doubt.

I'm sure it won't be till fall. Things in this area can go to hell REALLY quickly when the temperatures are high. If any of the 'critters' run out of water things could get critical in very short order.

LOVE to see the the new place!

Some schools taught you how to spell.........some didn't. The thing that they didn't teach was how to think straight. I give folks a pass on the spelling.

Sure... they are both acceptable spellings. "OUR" is more common there and "OR"
happens to be the norm here.
My spell-check likes the Americanized spelling.... nevertheless, the British spelling is more aesthetically pleasing to this artist's eye. Lizzy

Reading comprehension was more important than spelling, in technical schools and colleges,

and then showing the method an answer was arrived at, Oxford English was not the norm.

Good grief! By placing the word "rumour", I was emphasizing that it was exactly that and did not come from a media report.

It's all "Media" even the "News of the World" was "Media".

Well the troops for the bad guys have come, done their bad work and have left. And the Joco Police have now come back to work. Yes the office is open today.. To check out the accuracy of this story simply check with the Spanish speaking community of Joco or if you dare, ask a police officer.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this, Lizzy.

The Brits say: "Our country and its government are the best in the world."

The "Americanized" version is: "Or country and its government are the best in the world."

I think there's something wrong with that analogy. (Although with the educational system as it currently exists in the U.S.A. -- it might actually come to that!)

[Hopefully, you realize I'm just kidding?]

lol! lol! lol! lol!
