Swarm

As two places have been mentioned, which are we talking about going to? And where is Foccacia's?

We're swarming Focaccia's. It's just past Vista del Lago on the way to Mezcala.

Focciacas is in San Juan Tecomatlan

Follow the carreterra past Vista del Lago about 1.5km. You will enter the village. There are 3 fierce topes entering the village and 2 more as you leave. Shortly after the last topes you will enter a curve to the right. In the middle of the curve the entrance to Foccacias is on the left go up the hill and find a parking spot. There is both indoor and outdoor eating. Depends on the weather. Great food and great lake views.

I don't see us getting there by bus, so we will pass.

Unfortunately, it sounds like a place that's not easily accessible by those of us who have to take a bus or walk, so I'll have to bow out. I hope you get a good crowd, and I hope that the next swarm is held at a place that's more convenient!

By far the most Swarms have been held in Ajijic. I am sure that will remain the case in the future.

Why don't you guys do like the Birder's Club? They establish a meeting point and car pool when they have a remote location. Sorry, but we will be out of town then.

how about the thursday instead?

I can't believe that the bus doesn't run past Foccacia. It is on the main (only) road to Mezcala.

Thursday is better for me Pedro but others said Wednesday. Maybe they would be willing to change. I work Wednesday morning

A Chapala bus does make regular daily runs to Mescala, right past Foccacia. Check the Chapala bus station for scheduled times.

Buses run by my house every 10-15 minutes. Both ways

Wednesday is no problem for them and I will need to tell them by the 23rd how many people to expect.

I'll be busy with the Chili Cook Off set-up next week so can't make it. Have fun everyone.

If any of you from Ajijic are coming why not offer to car pool for some of those who are car less and would like to attend
I am in Mirasol on Wednesday mornings and could take 2 or 4 people if you can find your way to Mirasol or at the Chapala Bus Station if you prefer.
I won't have time to go west and pick anyone up as I work to at least 12.
I could drop you back at the Chapala Bus Station after the swarm

I wish I was there for this. For the unsocial aspect comments we now have car pooling ( yak, yak) and for others a great little bus trip into the countryside (yak yak ) with the locals. It should prove to be a great day. For those who can it's a great area to stroll around. Did I mention their lasagna. One order feeds 2. Order 2. You'll eat for the week or freeze the leftovers. He'll probably do a "pre - set " menu. Can't blame him for that. Except for the pasta most ingredients come from within a mile. They have their own garden. I would order xtra to take home. I mean it. Special people who deserve our trade. Have fun. Also decent drinkies, wine, and agua frescas.

Thank You 2mexicos.   I am not sure what Deb's schedule is, but, I did forward your number to Deb.   I hope she can work the swarm in, as it would be her 1st since Hensely and I put a meet n greet together @ the Sunrise Cafe before CB started his board.    She met most of our Web Board friends when we hosted the "BORED MEETINGS" @ our home.   Say Hi to the boys and Barry for us. BTW, wish I could be there.
