EL JARDIN de NINETTE Restaurant Review

Tonight 9 of us from our Semi Monthly Dinner group ate at El Jardine de Ninette restaurant more commonly referred to as "Ninette". First they brought us their mint drink, free of charge. Next they took drink orders, several ordered wine both red and white, others had Margaritas. We arrived at 6:00 PM and did not know drinks were 2 x 1 from 12 PM to 6 PM. They brought very warm fresh bread with a soft homemade butter. It was very good.

We talked for awhile then they took our meal orders. One person ordered Pork Chops in Tamarind sauce. It was very moist and came over mashed potato. One person ordered Chicken Breast with Tamarind sauce over mashed potato. Two people ordered Salmon with a Honey sauce and fresh veggies.

Four people ordered the Shrimp Kabobs over Seasonal fruits. There are 3 skewers of shrimp, 4 shrimp on each skewer with bacon wrapped spinach and an apple slice at each end. The shrimp was over carrot slices, zuchinni, green pepper, onion in a balsamic glaze. It was very, very tasty. One person ordered a special salad.

They are going to alter the Menu, but still keep many of the items. oscar, the owner said it will be Mexican High Cuisine.

The food was extremely well presented. The prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend Ninette restaurant. Constitucion # 57 - 766 4905
