What an outstanding restaurant this place is. We had set out tonight to try the new chef at Simply Thai but it was closed so we headed over to the nearby Jardin de Ninette and what a find. I ordered the excellent lamb loin cooked rare and a greek salad. My darlin´wife had the black bean soup and pork chops in tamarind sauce. Fabulous. Superb cooking from a master chef. We shared a dessert of banana flambe soaked in dark rum and topped with ice cream. Outstanding. The house red wine was very good and well priced by th generous glass. This restaurant is a local treasure. Get over there and support this wonderful place while you can.

Our Dinner Group always supports this great restaurant. We consider it one of the two "best" in Ajijic. Did he have his tall propane heaters out yet?

We try to go inside to restaurants in cold weather. We go to those like Ninette when the weather warms up. We're just a bunch of old farts, 60 +.
