I'm told by a local that they are down these days as they upgrade to 5G.

Thank God I have IZZI as a very reliable backup.

I got a message on my cell phone saying that Telmex is aware of the outage and is working to fix the problem.

Started out with just Telmex (Infinitum) WiFi when I moved to Ajijic in November 2019, added Ilox WiFi and cable TV over a year ago, then added Telecable five months ago. This redundancy sounds insane and expensive, but the recent 3-week Telmex outage forced my hand. Your back-ups need back-ups here. Anger avoidance.

I retired a few years ago after many decades in the computer industry. I always remember the adage - there is no such thing as too many backups.

Net AND phone down all monday. Amazingly when my daughter called and raised hell, it came back on. Phone still out!

What are the speeds and monthly costs offered by Total Play? I know it is available in upper ajijic and would hope that it is also offered at the top of Juarez, 3 blocks from my house .

That's a very good price for the speed provided. Is that their slowest speed or is there one slightly slower for an even lower rate. $659 is a great rate for the speed offered but I would be happy for about half that speed
