Surf Fishing in Chacala
I am going to be surf fishing in Chacala (north of Guyabitos) for the two months of December & January. If anyone has any experience surf fishing in this area I would love to hear about it.
Re: Surf Fishing in Chacala
I don't know about Chacala but just south of Guayabitos I had some pretty good luck at San Pancho,Playa los Venados.
While you're there check out Las Cuevas just south of Chacala, nice secluded beach with decent skin diving and spear fishing.

No, buying gear from Vallarta Fishing center in Marina Vallarta. They said a complete entry level set-up (rod, reel, line) is worth about $300.00. The guy that runs the shop said he will come up to Chacala and give us some pointers. Renting for 60 days would be more than purchase.

BTW........we were told that fishing from land, anywhere in México, does not require a fishing license. A license is only required when fishing from a boat.
