They were a lot closer when the shootout was at the mural on Hildago in Chapala.

wrong. that was right in front of spencer's place and then the superior grill and a coupla years ago.

Deadwood, Dodge City, and Tombstone all managed to survive after a shootout.

I know. I just figured everyone knows where the mural is but might not know Spencer's Place.
Was there a separate shooting at Superior or are you thinking of the pickup truck smashing into the front of it after the driver was shot trying to get away from the aforementioned shootout at the mural/Spencer's Place/Coffee Tree?

that was part of the same incident and the female sicario threw the pin at the police instead of the grenade and blew her arm off so the driver actually didn't need shooting. somewhere i have pics of both incidents. spencer took some of the first fool laying on the ground in front of his place. actually it was closer to saege the hairdressers place but spence had bullet holes in his place.

Oh yea! I has forgotten about the grenade whoops on that one! Ah, good times.
Don't forget the bullet pocks in the mural too. I think they finally got painted over.

We listened to that event from the comfort of our bed. It was quite a while ago and caused no real concern in Chapala. The police did their job and it was over with in just minutes.

Today, they have turned the horrific violence into a big tourist business.  I don't how many times Wild Bill Hickok has been shot in the back (actors of course) over the years in Deadwood.

She must have been a strong lady. Pulling a pin from a hand grenade takes a lot of strength. In the movies you might see some guy pull a pin out with his teeth, never happened. It would rip his teeth out. And if she was holding it when it went off I find it hard to believe she didn't die.
