Sirens heading towards San Nicolas
Saw police, fire department and ambulances racing towards San Nicolas with sirens after 4:00pm. Anyone have more information?

Re: Sirens heading towards San Nicolas
Marvin and Helaine Harthcock were in a bad accident. Their SUV rolled and the bomberos had to cut them out of the vehicle. Marvin is cut and bruised but otherwise OK. Helaine was unconscious for a time and will be taken to a hospital in Guad for treatment.
It could have been much much worse.

I truly hope Marvin and Helaine get better. They have had bad luck lately. This is really too bad.

Re: Sirens heading towards San Nicolas
Update: Helaine has broken ribs and a broken wrist and some bleeding in her head. The hospital is stabilizing her but won't admit her without a responsible party present. Marvin is being held at Cruz Roja in Chapala pending arrival of his lawyer and insurance rep. because if he steps outside of CR, he will be put in jail (guard at the door). Calls have been put in to the children stateside.
Everyone who knows these two wonderful people, please pray.

Re: Sirens heading towards San Nicolas
If anyone knows how to contact Helaine or what hospital she is in, please contact Helaine's doctor, Santiago Hernandez on his cell 331-605-9645.
Re: Sirens heading towards San Nicolas
I just saw Marvin at the CRUZ ROJA. He's ok. Shaken, a bit bloody but overall ok.
Spencer's office is helping settle the legal issues with Marvin and trying to get him home ASAP.
The staff at Cruz Roja did tell me that Helaine was finally admitted to the hospital. She was scheduled for surgery (broken arm, wrist, etc. ?). That's the extent of the information I was given. I'll be seeing her this afternoon when I head back to Guadalajara. If anybody needs further details please contact me thru my office: 376.765.7777 And FYI, as their Primary Care Physician, I won't be able to give out any more details unless they give me permission.
Thanks to all who contacted me with info.
