I will be flying to Ajijic mid February (22nd), if any in the area need something small and legal brought down please let me know. I do live in Ajijic centro and have no car.

If items are under 10.00 dollars I will get and you can pay me there. If over you can ship to my Arizona address.

Senor gvprod, I have just had a new titantium hip & tibia installed tues (doctor says me no walkeeeee for 2-3 mo .....xx%%#^&), and I......... am craving........................ TraderJoe's RoundLoaf sourdough bread( X2) and TJ's Soft Cheesy Breadsticks (X2).  They are both in plastic bags in the bread aisle.  The Loaves are probably 2lbs/ea &  the Breadsticks maybe 1pound each.  In total, the cost might be  around 10.00USD.  Would this be a doable thing for you?  You would ever be in my esteem AND I'll also pay double their cost

when get out of hosp next week, I will have my neighbor or caretaker drive down to pay & pickup when you return to MX.  OK?
I am using someone else's 'puter & don't know if I am signed into Lakeside, but my nameID is VANDRE so you can PM me with any ???'s or answers. Thans so much. Vandre/Romy

Can fresh food items be brought across the border?  I didn't think so, but......

I do understand the longing for some Trader Joe items.  Later, when you can, there'a an excellent French bread available at Superlake (usually gone before noon) and there's the Scandinavian bakery in the Centro Laguna Mall...good stuff there.

Hope you recover soon. Beer

Gringal, no problema with bread ,rolls, rice bags/boxes, instant tater bags, ala, noodles, panko,Pillsbury bisc's etc.= All OK Only meat fish, eggs, veggies ingredients seem to be aproblem. I also bring 4-5 lbs Kirkland butter per trip. This is via aero, so no se about auto ....but would think even more lenient. And, believe me ..my allowed55pounds is taken up almost totally with foodstuffs!!!!

My experience is that driving through entails a wave, and that's it.
