Sirens
Something happening. Coming from the east, passing SAT, and heading toward Ajijic.

Re: Sirens
Red cross had lots of people out front a bit earlier, usually only happens when there is an accident.

Re: Sirens
I believe if they were to have reached anywhere near Ajijic, that I would have heard the sirens. It was very quite tonight.
Well not really, I heard and saw quite a bit of thunder and lightening, here in upper Ajijic. We even got enough rain to make things look wet, but not enough for a good watering.

Re: Sirens
Ok, that means they must have gone up the Libremiento, that's what it sounded like. More sirens about an hour later.
Spencer, you're probably right.

Re: Sirens
Somebody was super relaxed not to have heard all that. The cops were flying, including 4 motos, which means some fighting going on. It was in Joco malecon. 3 were arrested while others escaped. :-S

Re: Sirens
But the Jocotepec attack on police, gunbattle and arrests was LAST night's excitement (Saturday night). It's a different incident tonight.

Re: Sirens
haste makes waste, I was reading quickly from the iphone, read Sunday, it registered as early Sunday evening rather than Sunday a.m. and now that I'm on a computer see that the article came out around 2 p.m. today. What a nasty fight last night.
Well, we were in SA and watched the crew fly by...it didn't appear they were going up the libramiento but into Ajijic, but since I can't read tonight, I may have been more distracted by the lightening.

Re: Sirens
Gosh every time there are sirens everyone asks if they are heard, didn't you hear any up north, and did you really care there?
