Guadalajara.- Esta tarde se reportó una balacera en Tizapán, Jalisco, en donde hay al menos siete policías lesionados y uno muerto. De los lesionados, su estado de salud se reporta como grave.

Fuentes oficiales informaron que se tiene detenidos a dos presuntos agresores.

Además, se informó que helicópteros militares se dirigen al lugar para prestar apoyo. incluso están en el lugar fuerzas estatales y municipales.

Tizapán se encuentra localizado en la ribera de Chapala, justo frente al poblado de Chapala, antes de la desviación a Mazamitla.

this news report from yesterday (sunday) is very confusing because it talks about things happening in tizapan and then, in the last sentence, describes tuxcueca. there are later reports tht make more sense, saying that the incident started in tuxcueca with a stolen truck and wound up in a shooting near tizapan.

still a lot of different information out there, however. and so far, none of the journalists have i've read have mentioned anything about narcos.
