all in one printer scanner wanted

my lexmark is fekked. don't use it too much so don't want a real expensive unit. this one lasted 7 years and that damned defective voltage thingy probly buggered it. i have 2 brand new ink cartridges.

You can get a brand new printer at WalMart for as little as $600 pesos. No sense bothering with used junk.

i need an all in one. printer and scanner combo. what would you recommend? adrian suggested hp because the cartridges are easily available.

Can you still buy *NEW* printer/scanners with XP drivers?

Because if you get Vista, win7, or win8 there are no drivers for old printer/scanners. (so we found)

i use xp. are you saying you can't get a printer/ scanner that is new to work with xp?

Will new printers/scanners work on Win XP...are drivers available?

Check side of box under requirements for operating systems supported.  XP may be trouble
for newer all in ones but who knows. Check it out. You can also look up the specs for example
on HP.com or Epson.com. Under specs it will have the supported operating system.
