Tony's in San Antonio on the Carretera near Superlake.  The coconut shrimp was recently absolutely AMAZING!

I agree that Tony´s is amazing. The only place I have found where I like it better is Restoran Del Mar in Chapala. There is just enough batter to hold the coconut on the shrimp and it is cooked to perfection.

Mario's near plaza in San Antonio. Delicious... Large... Plentiful. Not on menu right now, but just ask and they will make them for you.

LOL...is that the place on the road to San Nicolas, about a 1/2 block past the T intersection of Pepe Guizar and the highway.
If not let me give that place a plug as I know it as "Che"...better than Tony's, but not by much...IMO.

That's the place. The boutique hotel is called Letra Ch and the restaurant is Restoran del Mar. Excellent!
