Can I drive here with my ONAPAFFA plates?
Probably this has been covered, but I can't find it with the search engine. Does anybody know if amparo license plates are respected here? Or... will I get pulled over every few minutes?

I have read discussions on other forums where these type plates are being issued in other States such as Guanajuato State. If my memory serves me correctly - I seem to remember warning about not driving into Jalisco with this type of plate? Like so many things in Mexico, I think the answer may be: it depends.

I have my doubts. I have spoken to people who have sort of weird ejido plates and there are restrictions on where they can drive. Also any letter from a politician is laughable. As far as an amparo goes there are 2 issues here, one that a person would need to be specifically covered in the amparo as well as have a certified copy of the federal court resolution.
