Forwarding local phone land lines.
Does anyone know how to forward a local 766 # phone to another 766 # or to a local cell phone? I used to do this NOB all the time. I'm expecting a very important call from Publisher"s Clearing house. I also need to know how to cancel call forwarding after they call. Thanks in advance for your help.

Maybe Ruby Begonia from Robesonia?
Seriously, call or stop by at Telmex to see if you have the service and they will give you instructions, as it involves several steps. That's what I would do.

Here is the Telmex webpage that explains it.
Keep in mind there is no such thing as a local cell phone number from 766, and forwarding to a cell phone will be costly

Re: Forwarding local phone land lines.
I just wish my Telmex voicemail worked consistently. It's crap.
Sometimes it doesn't pick up the call at all. And worse, sometimes someone will leave a voicemail, but I won't receive the message in a timely manner. I've had messages "appear" in my mailbox three days after they were left, etc.

RV, I had trouble with my TM voicemail too. After fooling around and around, I talked to the curly-haired nice guy at the TM office and he fixed it. What he did was delete all the VM settings and start over. It worked.

Thanks, but I already did exactly that (re-set, start over) a couple of months ago at the Telmex office.
