SCOTIA BANK IN RIBERAS DEL PILAR
HELLO EVERYONE !
We have contacted the Regional Director of ScotiaBank Jalisco as we have the perfect local for them to open a real branch with all services in Riberas del Pilar. You might have notice a new building right next to Forza Gym, just ahead of Mom's deli.
You can help us convince them to open a branch here by going to face book : https://www.facebook.com/ScotiabankMX?sk=timeline and put a comment requesting that it would be time for them to finally have a full service bank here.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Kate

as a scotiabank customer,i find no need for a branch in mexico as scotiabank here is a separate entity as ruled by canadian banking law. it will actually cost you to transfer funds between the two as if they were not joined at the hip.as well as the atm in sat we can write scotia and or cash 3rd party cheques at intercam

It would be nice for Scotia Bank to open a branch there and they would do some business as there are only 2 banks where Mexicans can pay for US visas , Banamex and Scotia Bank, this would give the locals another choice for payment of their new visas or for renewals as currently only Banamex has a local branch.

never thought about it being a good idea for mexican customers to have a scotiabank here.shame on me! but if there's one in lerdo why not here? should be in chapala though, for easy access. that location in riberas does not make sense.Intercasa wrote:It would be nice for Scotia Bank to open a branch there and they would do some business as there are only 2 banks where Mexicans can pay for US visas , Banamex and Scotia Bank, this would give the locals another choice for payment of their new visas or for renewals as currently only Banamex has a local branch.

SCOTIA BANK IN RIBERAS DEL PILAR
Hello Everyone !
I was just asking your cooperation in requesting that Scotiabank finally opened a branch here.
Riberas is a fabulous location it has plenty of parking space, the bus stops right in front of Mom's deli a few feet away for possible location, and YES, I have a Scotiabank Mexico account for the past 12 years and they could certainly pick up business here with the locals as well as snowbirds.
I don't see a reason to put a bank in a location where you can never find parking like Banamex in Chapala or Bancomer in Ajijic...
Scotiabank Mexico also has great investment opportunities with good interest rates and they are as good as in Canada.
I appreciate your comments, and again a simple note on their Facebook page might help us (the interested one) to have a branch in our area.
Have a great day everyone !
