Is Rickki's Japanese and Thai restaurant closed?

Is ricki's Japanese and Thai restaurant closed? I phoned them on Friday, Sat and Sunday, but only an answering machine was on.

We had lunch there yesterday.

I called on Thursday and I was told they were going to be closed Friday due to going to a Mass.

3 weeks ago I called on Thursday and made a reservation for 10 people on Friday at 2pm, I called back on Friday at 11am to change the number and the young man I talked to the day before said, Oh we decided to close early, I couldn't believe it. I have never been there and never will.

Well, Hensley, Ricki's is SO good that the rest of us will keep them alive and prospering without your help.

There was a group of people from Ajijic going to Talpa for the annual Pilgrimage - maybe Ricki and his family went on that trip.

I like Ricky's so much I might single-handedly keep them alive and prospering!

I understand how you could feel that way.

You don't have the foggiest idea of what you're missing when it comes to food quality and price. Give them another chance. They are one of the 10 best restaurants, if not one of the 5 best in Ajijic and the cheapest too! Consistent quality food!!!

Have to agree with John...doesn't get much better on quality and price.
