RICKI'S JAPANESE and THAI Restaurant Review Empty RICKI'S JAPANESE and THAI Restaurant Review

Seven of us ate at Ricki's Japanese and Thai Restaurant tonight.

Most of us ordered the Miso soup first, a good sized steaming hot tasty bowl. One person had an order of California rolls. 8 rolls per order. Another person ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Udon over a beautiful properly cooked mound of veggies, served in a soup bowl. Several people ordered the Shrimp Tempura appetizer which is 6 large lightly breaded (non oily) Shrimp served with a bowl of light soy sauce. Another ordered Shrimp Tempura appetizer and a bowl of white rice. I ordered a green salad which is huge and enough for two people. It consists of Romaine lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato, about 1/4 sliced avocado and red onion. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura appetizer as above.

Our bill for two miso soups, two shrimp tempura appetizer, 1 green salad and 2 soft drinks was 222 pesos. Probably the most reasonable place in town to eat.

Everyone liked their meals. We highly recommend Ricki's for good food, consistently prepared and the most reasonable prices in town. A very clean place. His son is an excellent waiter.

I would like to add that our Semi Monthly Dinner group considers RICKI'S Japanese and Thai Restaurant to be among the Top Ten Best restaurants in Ajijic. We always get a high turn out in the group.
