Trip NOB
We’re looking for someone to follow us in our second vehicle to across the McAllen, Texas border, in early April. We’ll pay for gas, food, tolls, lodging in our motor-home and bus fare home, plus personal labor fees for a five day trip. Anyone interested? If so, what would your fees be?

Boy; driving to McAllen, TX, the ultimate redneck destination and staying along the way in someone else´s RV is reward enough. Dawg was planning to drive to Chiapas at about that time staying in hotels along the way but screw Chiapas when McAllen is the goal. Unfortunately, I am committed to Chiapas.
There is this "famous Chinese sous chef" who posts on Chapala.Com who used to be a chief celery chopper at a Chinese restaurant in that part of Texas many years ago who is the all around expert on everything. Invite her, she´s always in for a free ride.

I get your point but this is a job not a vacation and they choose the fee their willing to do it for. Some of us need cash more than others and many times that’s just how life is.

Excuse me, Parker, for my sense of humor not aimed at you. I wish you luck in finding an escort. This was a very fine offer for someone who can help you.

The person we’re paying (as per the original post). My partner will be driving the motorhome and it should be a two-day trip there, a day to rest or shop if they want and a very long bus ride home that’s our reasoning for the five days.

Re: Trip NOB
Parker (and anybody who is interested in going with Parker), for the trip back, Viva AeroBus has flights that are cheaper than bus right now. And they fly from Reynosa to Mexico City then GDL. Might have to book it as two separate legs. Just a heads up.

Boy! do you have that right. Have you ever seen or heard of anyone who is a bigger expert on Mexico in just about all facets. I remember when "she" first came to Ajijic, pawing the ground in confusion, and now according to her, she arrived before the Spaniards.

Thank you Merry, it certainly could be nicer, quicker and hopefully less expensive but our original offer will still stand.

I don’t believe that anyone thought it was any more than some good advice. But in my case I’ve made a promise of 5 days of labor plus other expenses and have received some offers. When we get to McAllen they will receive the balance to get home and labor charges, how they get home is there choice and I sincerely thank you for the good advice as this could work out well for our helper.
