Local Folkloric Ballet Group Invited to Competition in Chile

SON DE MEXICO FOLKLORIC BALLET - "Son de Mexico" has been invited to represent Mexico at the Third International Forum of Cultures being held in Valparaiso, Chile, from October 25-30, 2010. They are the only group from Mexico that has been chosen and they are from our San Juan Cosala in Jalisco! Once they reach Chile, ground transportation, meals and lodging are being provided but the airfare for all 30 "Son de Mexico" members is very expensive. Therefore, we are soliciting community support to help them achieve this goal. Several fundraising events have been planned over the next few months to assist in raising money for their trip. Your help and contributions in this regard will be very much appreciated. There are several fund-raising events planned where the group will dance and in some cases diner is provided also. We are seeking private donations for their trip also. So if you know anyone who wants to make a donation and/or can't attend, please PM me.
