If you were going to buy a new vehicle (car, SUV, Crossover or Truck) this year, what would you buy?
Year, Make, Model - New or used - In the US or Mexico?

Yup, another Honda CRV. Best car I ever owned from the standpoint of useful and flexible. 72 cubic feet of carry space with the back seats down. Decent gas mileage, very decent transmission and engine.
Second choice would be the Toyota RAV4. Both of these vehicle handle the rough roads and topes with ease, are narrow enough for easy driving on village streets.

None of the above. I don't want all the new gizmo's, ever. I'm sticking with my 18 year old Nissan until we both expire, rusted out and with multiple paint chips, plus some bird crap, for extra ambience.

I like the CRV but it doesn't hold golf clubs unless you put the back seat down. Club carrying is a requirement for us. Too bad.

Honda CRV for sure. We bought a 2003 Jalisco plated and love it. It's young enough to be reliable, but old enough that we don't care if we get a dent or a scrape added here and there.

Ford Escape 2011, easily carries 4 sets of golf clubs, without folding down the backseat. MPG is pretty good as well...got 30.8 mpg on the last fishing trip to and from Aguamilpa.

Nissan if living in Mexico - would have a Mexican plated car. Better deals in the US but lots of hassle with a US plated car here. The best thing I ever did here was buy a Mexican plated car. And now that there is no car tax (just the annual renewal) it is very affordable.
