Am I reguired to renew my vehicle permit every year

I brought my truck into Mexico in 2006 under a tourist visa then changed to fm3 then fm2,I have not renewed the vehicle permit since then because I thought I was covered by articulo 106 of the ley aduanera,if I do need to renew what does that involve I'm in GDL.

You don't need to but the authorities are trying to coerce you or convince you to do the notification. My office does them $250 pesos, or else you can make 2 trips to the airport, park and bring them 3 copies of everything.

Thanks Intercasa,if I dont need to Id rather not, I guess Ill call the aduana and see if I can get a definitive answer from them.
BTW your fees in this matter and immigration matters seem very reasonable.

Doing the notification generates a letter which really impresses most police agencies which stop you as they will see your info and a new expiration date next year tied to your FM3 or FM2 and it has the SAT stamp on it and is something dated after your old import permit from the government.

I have an office in Guad but it is only for mortgage business. I do have a place in Chapalita as well as am taking morning classes at the judicial council in downtown (Degollado x Madero) so am able to meet up with you to gather papers or signatures near Chapalita or downtown.
