Wish I was in Mexico now to join you! BTW, I instigated the first online posters get-together in October 2003 and it was at .....TA DA....

MARIO'S and I had the awesome shrimp burger. Don Adams (aka Uncle Donnie RIP) was there, as was Blue (of Midlife Mavericks fame), the Hoffman's and a bunch of others...I have the pix somwhere.

After that, we went to Tom's on Constitucion a few times. I also coordinated Thanksgiving Dinners at La Nueva Posada for a few years. People who were checking out the area over that holiday week had a chance to have a special dinner with new friends.

Glad that ya'll are still meeting online friends. I'm trying to swing a trip over Thanksgiving this year; hope we can do another GTG. and now back to swarming....great idea.

Sandy! Thanks for that memory, wish you could be here too. Those were the days (I arrived a few months after that get together), times have changed a lot since then. RIP, indeed. What a fun table that was!

I am hoping to make it and don't mind being lucky #13. Can anyone provide a bit more detailed directions other than 1/2 block from the plaza? Is it west, east or south? I can find the Plaza and Adelita's in San Antonio so any directions using those landmarks would be appreciated.

Stand on the south side of the plaza. Church will be across street. Turn right (west) walk about 100 ft down street. Mario's is on right.

You will be FACING THE CHURCH (SOUTH) when standing in the plaza, and the church will be across the street directly in front of you. Now go right, it's maybe 4-5 doors down from the plaza.
