Mexico State of Mind? Empty Mexico State of Mind?

Post by CheenaGringo Fri Feb 03, 2012 8:08 pm

Today, I was browsing the Internet for local news and ran across a story titled: Topes Job Fair My first reaction was WTF - here in New Mexico?

Then it dawned on me that we have a AAA Baseball Team here in Albuquerque called the Isotopes or Topes for short. I sat here roaring at my State of Mind!

Apparently we got two new ones west of Ajijic this week. They are the metal bump kind. We'll see how long they last. Very Happy

I took my poor Nissan Sentra SER with the 17" stupid rims and tires here
and when I got it back home and put it up on the rack I had to get a can
of spray undercoating and cover all the scrapes from the unmarked topes.
Luckily no damage but we brought a truck back this time. I suppose you
can drive a low car here but I found I didn't need the worry. Truck or
SUV with 25lbs of air sure rides nice over the topes and dots.
