Re: Gringa killed?
You mean that she took your CD and cut it up?
I'm a little weak in English these days. Trying to learn Spanish pronouns has termiinally confused my elderly and alcohol fogged brain. Dawg understand that last part I know.

If you refrain from being so nasty -- and send me your email address -- I will even send you one of the songs from that CD.
Do you prefer children's Christmas songs, secular music, or religious? They're all there (since I recorded it for my grand-daughter) -- 12 songs in all. And it is gratis.

Well... g-gal. my one available source for the quote said it was' "Old age and treachery triumph over youth and skill," but I don't believe that at all... hence the adaptation that I learned, "Old age and cunning will triumph over youth and beauty."

Cute, Lehrer, but there are very few 17 year olds who read these threads so sophomoric humor has a limited audience. You are fortunate that The Dawg is here to appreciate you.

Indeed. Of that there's no doubt. How about a Limerick? L

Now, dawg... as fine as Lehrer's verbal quip may be... I cannot claim it...
and it seems to me...
to appear to be...
a quote from me. See? Lizzy

A linguist who thought it phenomenal
Had a unit he thought astronomical
'Til a lass by the name of Lizzy
Called his bluff in a tizzy
Then he saw it to be simply comical.

Oh Señor Lehrer...
A bistro in Old New Orleans...
was famous for rice and red beans.
The patrons cut farts...
well known in these parts
for blowing the seats off their jeans. Lizzy

There once was a dude on the south shore
whose postings gave rise to a snore
he thought he was deft
with a keyboard no less
but he really was just a big bore.

We have here a poster whose whine
can send appetites into decline.
One can sit down to dinner
and come away thinner...
from laughing one's arse off... full time. L

There's a poster who says she's a Brit
who hasn't a smidgen of wit
if she knows why or not
she posts quite a lot
and proves she is really a twit.
