Moving companies

Good morning, looking for information from anyone who recently moved Lakeside from the US. Original plan of heading to Texas in U-Haul and transferring to Strom White movers has changed with their policy shift of only accepting goods in lift vans, from professional moving companies. Would prefer to stick to original plan, anyone with recent experience using other movers?

I think we have discussed this before.
I took all of belongings to Nogales NM, where I dropped it off at a warehouse that was set up by SEYMI Moving out of Guadalajara.
They came and picked all my stuff there and delivered it to me here in Chapala Haciendas. I think it took them less than two weeks. Worked great for me as some of the local movers prefer to use Laredo TX .
The price was very competitive. Check out their website.

For a tsunami of reasons—starting with a basic lack of reliable communications (phone calls routinely answered by the owner’s non-English speaking young children, who eventually hang up on you) to a wildly inflated quote (over $30,000 USD for what was, thanks to Strom White, an $11,200 move), avoid Lake Chapala Moving.
