Big accident above Chapala??

tweet says it's w/a bus sirens for 30 min now. Looking for information.

that road scared the bejesus outta me... I wouldn't let my realtor even show us Chapala Haciendas because the entranceway off of the highway wuz an accident waiting to happen.... let it happen to someone else...
frankly... I'm surprised that there aren't a whole lot more of em...

The section of highway from the 7/11 all the way to Ixtlahuacan gets more than its share of accidents.

There was an accident a little bit ago, 4-5 tow trucks and several police trucks went by at the same time the torch was leaving Chapala.

I don't know what you're talking about accidents in Chapala Haciendas, there's not an accident there. However, there are many accidents above it, on the hill with switchbacks to Guadalajara. That has to be where this happened.

What's bazar is that I just drove near the Chapala Haciendas entrance and there was nothing, no sirens. Returned home and the sirens are still blaring!! All I can say is that it's a full moon tonight and it's driving me nuts!

Ok, I didn't get much sleep AGAIN last night. In alarmist mode. How about it, the tow trucks are on parade in Chapala!! Me thinks there was no accident...why do they do that? Someone just called and said they've seen them do this before. Not sure why.

So the tweet could be anywhere in on the carretera.

That's alright. Accidents can happen anywhere around here. We were rear ended in Riberas.

That particular intersection doesn't seem to have problems, that I'm aware of. You shouldn't be concerned about looking in that area. It's actually very convenient to get to Guad or Chapala. I wouldn't be one that'd like to be coming out of the entrance that doesn't cruz the highway, but that's just my personal preference. The other entrance is really accessible to either direction on the highway. Maybe before they put up dividers there were problems.

There was a sort of religious procession and rockets and the tow trucks participated, I saw them coming into Chapala at the curve by Chap Hac and an hour or so later they paraded down the main street with the Virgen or some iconic doll encased in plexiglass and had sirens and horns blaring and then rockets blasting and something at the church, I was studying at Coffee hour.

According to mt source who marched in the cold rain in Zapopan, it was a different virgen, forgot her name, not Zapopan but begins with an M.

Ok the only thing to do to clear this up is to go in search of the virgin - seen by Intercasa, and ascertain WHICH virgin is circulating in Chapala. C Bob we need a virgin icon!
