Register for QR code for airport

Do you still have to do this? A friend flew back to US yesterday and she said the form or QR was no longer necessary at check in. Only negative antigen and boarding pass. Have they stopped requiring all these forms?

It was necessary to get the Mexican health QR code when I flew back from Cancun last Thursday.

Did you take the picture of the QR code at check in or were you be able to get it completed before going to the airport.

You can complete the questionnaire in advance 12 hours or less before your flight. You can't take a picture of the QR code for them to scan -- rather, they want to see a picture of the completed form instead. If you are traveling with children or others you can create your account and then add names to that so several people can answer their health questions all on one application if you want.

I always complete the form, obtain the QR code and do a screenshot of it. Works fine.

Glad we can do it 12 hours or less. Our flight is 8 a m. Hate to be fool with it the night before after 8 p m.

Do you need this "QR" code when flying only within Mexico? no international border crossed.

Yes! As stated above, I just flew to/from Cancun and had to do it both ways.

You complete everything online and it gives you the QR code. Do a screenshot and save as picture.

Online they will hold you to the 12 hour limit.

You can go old school and print this form and fill it in whenever you'd like,

The one on line says save and get QR code.

You don't need a QR code unless you are using phone to store it.  If you print and fill in the form, that's all you need to show at Security.
