I had a guest recently that mentioned "how much of a hoax the whole covid fiasco was". I had no comment.....lol.

We happened to be talking to two Canadian ladies when one enlightened us with a new fact: the Pandemic was caused by people catching COVID from having received the vaccines!

You just cannot fix STUPID!

I have no problem at all with unvaccinated people. It certainly doesn't stop them from getting or spreading covid. It's their choice, why should I care?

Not putting ourselves on a pedestal but we were lucky enough to hit the vaccine cycle in the US that we were able to get the initial two vaccines and all three Boosters. Certainly must admit that we were primarily primarily interested in personal protection by getting the jabs. But from the very get-go we have worn masks in consideration of others and we still do when in confined spacers or crowds. We also recognize the fact that the Mexican populace has been at a disadvantage because of the spotty distribution fiasco they have designed. I know we would not have been comfortable with the choices found here vs the 5 Pfizer jabs we had.

The recent Artisans Feria was disappointing to us because of their lock of COVID mitigation efforts. All the Artisans were required to be double vaccinated and they were instructed to ask hosts what their mask preferences were. Meanwhile, Gringos, buyers from around Mexico and the rest of the world were NOT required to document their vaccination status or wear masks because Jalisco had dropped the rules on mask wearing. So the "it's all about me crowd" gave no consideration for ithers!

Ever heard of paying attention to the news that hospitals in many places are running higher occupancy rates than at the height of the Pandemic with COVID, RSV and FLU cases? MASKS ANYONE?

I’m still using masks indoors. A few weeks ago at Quality Care there were several in the waiting room maskless. Yeasterday I was happy to see all were wearing them, especially since Monday is when the Pulmonologist, Dr. Peralta is there. If I may, I’d like to put in a plug for him because he’s so good and he has become my favorite doctor of all time. He also treats sleep disorders.

I should have said he treats sleep apnea, not all sleep disorders.
