BESIDES THE AT HOME TESTS NOT BEING REPORTED, PEOPLE ARE ALSO NOT SWABBING DEEPLY ENOUGH AND GETTING FALSE NEGATIVES. THE YOUNG MAN THAT I KNOW, WHO WAS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH COVID, DID NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO GET TESTED TO CONFIRM THAT IT HAD GONE. HE SAID IT WAS A MOST UNCOMFORTABLE TEST.

Realize we are not in the US, but current CDC guidelines do not call for re-testing after a positive test. Once positive it's 5 days isolation; then 5 days with mask indoors and out.

I do too but it has been a pattern that Sunday and Monday go down and then go up Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I think it has a lot to do with testing facilities not being open for half of Saturday and all of Sunday. Or, "hey it's the weekend, I'll get tested next week". Ain't nuthin' perfect.
