Haven't heard from him for several days. Is he okay?

I saw her in traffic, I think on Monday. She was juggling rocks at the stoplight in front of Walmart.

She visits the board almost everyday. Just hasn't been posting much. Probably sick of covid and political crap.......

Oh yeah, I forgot! I know Jeffrey Beeman, the new poster who got rudely run off by Mrs. Rupert. He is an interesting person who would have had quality input on this board, something profoundly lacking. I don't blame him! Who wants to hang out with assholes?

Maybe, but no more than any other new person wanting to be accepted and fit in. Is it bad to be sensitive? How much shit should somebody have to take just to post on a friggin' webboard?

Well I don't know of any board where somebody isn't going to disagree with you or call out what they think is wrong. In this case it was misinformed and shouldn't have happened. Members apologized for that response but he wasn't having any of it.

Seems like Jeff isn't the only one who is overly sensitive.
Six months into the pandemic. Do you really think that others are not doing their part and pitching in? It may not be with your group, but I highly suspect that they are so why would they make inquiries into yours?

Edited to add: I went to quite a bit of detail to help Jeff with his search for accommodations. Not only wasn't I thanked, he removed his entire post so nobody else could benefit from the information posted. C'est la vie.

The food charity that Javier and his wife have undertaken from their La Bodega restaurant is a worthwhile cause that is pretty low-key, and unless you know about it, you wouldn't know about it. He can feed a family for a month on $500p.

(I'd like to see Mainecoons march across the street from his hated homestead and provide a monthly stipend, instead of always bragging about his Iteso students on TOB.)

TR, I understand your point being made, but OTH, you being very judgmental without knowing what other people are doing who maybe don´t want to promote themselves like Mainecoons, with whatever they are doing.
I wouldn´t want to extol my charitable virtues on any forum for the simple reason that it doesn´t play well and in most cases looks kind of tawdry. So many charitable acts are done anonymously.

Same to you Trailrunner. Please give a few minutes to consider how you insulted every member of this board because they did not respond to your post in the way you deemed proper. You declared us all selfish, uninterested in sharing or caring because we don’t ask about or contribute to your favorite local cause. When you, understandably, got some pushback on that, your feelings got hurt and you declare you are moving on. You see no irony in this? You insult us all but when some say something in response you stomp out in a huff.
