Where’s Trailrunner?

Haven’t seen a post in quite a while.

When uploading the pic it gives you choice of size. Use the 800px not the 1200px default.

That painting reminds me of dreams, and my dreams remind me of the Frida Kahlo dicho that roughly translated goes something like this:

Your dreams are like the wind. When the wind is blowing, the wind is alive, but when the wind stops blowing then the wind dies.

When you are dreaming, your dreams are alive, but when you stop dreaming, then your dreams die.

That's deep insight kiko.
I am seeing a lot of different things in that painting... faces, eyes etc. Nobody will ever see it the same way as somebody else and it even morphs while you're looking it. Fascinating.

Sweet, Kiko. Watched Frida again on Netflix the other night and enjoyed it so much more now that I'm living here. Diego was such a naughty boy but oh so charming and funny.

Do you know Marsha Lavender?  I saw an exhibit of her "poured" paintings at one of the local restaurants and the results were delightful. If you haven't already checked it out, there's a lot of information about Floetrol and its brethren and sistern in Google, including some good demos.

No, i do not know her. Was it recently that you saw her pours? If so, where?

I am a graduate of the University of You Tube. I also did my own medium experiments and Floetrol is my fav so far. Expensive hobby.

Where do you recommend for canvases? I want to go big.

He's done all of mine, up to 48" X 48". Probably will go larger if that's your desire. Does a great job; nice guy; fair prices.

I haven't seen a Marcia demo. If you want to meet her, she's the VP of the Ajicic Society of the Arts.. meetings on the first Monday of the Month at 10:00 a.m. in La Bodega restaurant on 16 de Septiembre in Ajijic. Short meetings; usually a demo of some kind after. Lots of good people membership. Coffee from 9:30.

I don't think so!

I know her and I think she was using it at least a few years ago when she was talking about it.  Maybe not now though.
