The numbers for Mexico have always been out of whack. From the main worldwide tracker, https://covid19info.live/
... the column on the far right (% infected) is a good indicator that the country is going in the right direction. ALL countries EXCEPT Mexico have started out between 70% and 80% in this column and then it goes down very slowly. Mexico's percentage has always been very low and continues to be low. Something very wacky there.

As I said, one of my neighbors has lost her sense of smell and taste - both of which can be symptoms of the virus. She went to a doctor (don't know which or where but they have IMSS) and the doctor said she has a cold. She told the doc she did not have a cold and the doctor told her it was all in her head. She was NOT tested for the virus. I still see her walking around the neighborhood. So much for testing and so much for the stats.

There’s a lot of underhanded shenanigans going on here. You have to follow this from the start of the pandemic to grasp the whole picture. Fauci just confessed that he didn’t tell the public from the start that masks were essential to prevent the spread of the virus. His favorite Remdesivir seems to be stalled. Prestigeous medical journals have had to retract studies that they published.
You can’t trust everything you read or hear on this subject.

Don't be fooled again. The article cited by McJreboll is dated April, 2020, and refers to anecdotal information that has since been discredited. More recent studies have shown that hydroxychloroquine is not only ineffective in treating or preventing coronavirus but may be a contributing factor in a higher death rate among patients using it.

So I’m trying to fool you?
All I have suggested is for everyone to have plan in consultation with their doctor.
What we know is that it’s very important to give the medications at the appropriate time. Many meds don’t work once your in a critical stage or have minimal effect.
You also have to realize that some meds are very expensive and if not in critical shortage now they will be when you most need them.
I have also suggested loading up on certain supplements to shore up your immune system.

Only 17 active cases. Numbers seem to be dropping in our area. That's good.......so far. I wonder where the stat goes when the patient is diagnosed and being treated in a GDL hospital?

They should have a chart for dengue fever too as it is also running through this area.

But dengue isn't contagious between people. You have to get bitten by a mosquito which is carrying it.

You just need to be in a room where someone has it and one mosquito. It can spread quite rapidly. We had over 1500 cases in this area 3 years ago.
