What is the local word for lawnmower. I am trying to find them in the Hope Depot catalogue. The official name cortacésped does not work. It starts with a p

except that it is podar and not cortar when speaking about grass.. je je ..yes podadora sounds a whole lot better..

Yes, that is where we are going. I wanted to get some idea of prices first.

It has been podadora for as long as I can remember and before that they were called chivos de pasto alimentado.


Cesped es muy espanol.

never heard cesped around here.. pasto yes and our friends from Chaiapas call it sacate but that us because they do not grown things they do not eat.. Yes Chivos work really well too.. ha ha..

So we went to Jocotepec. That place on the right only has expensive lawnmowers for sale now. In the past their repair service was excellent.
We went back a few blocks towards. On the opposite side of the street a few blocks away is the Stihl store. They had a good selection and we bought one there. They don't do service.
