According to the article in GR, it's just a fix-it ticket with a waived fine if you do it and show them the paperwork.
I'm not sweating it. BUT I am making sure all my car paperwork is in order! Lots of visible tránsitos lately.

Usually the dealer has had the emission test done and the sticker placed when you pick up the new car.
