6 today in broad daylight. Looks like Ive been booted from both crime sites so beware, turned over my cam recordings today to police. They think it is same 2 people they caught 5 months ago, this happened today a bit after 11am.

Am I missing something here? Since when do the police take any action with a cam recording of a crime? The police will not take action unless they actually catch the criminal during the act of the crime. Good luck with that.

The purpose of a cam recording is to provide the victim with the face and identity of the perp, then the homeowner can decide on what course of action he can take to resolve the matter. Or he can wring his hands and whine and complain.

They wanted to see who it was and to see if it was the people they thought it was.

Where did these thefts happen? And were they just car breakins, or theft of vehicles?

I heard there were approximately 6 vehicle thefts, whole car stolen in Ajijic in the area of Striker on the carratera last week. Since my car looks like crap I'm hoping they will leave it alone!

The post I saw on the crime watch FB page said 11 vehicles were stolen from that one spot at the corner where Striker is. The OP could not answer ANY questions beyond that. I believe it was the “my gardener told me” sort of story. In other words, an electronic rumor. Take it for what it is worth.

A new business in Ajijic at the SW corner of Juarez and the Carretera. I think it's a print shop. Being NOB at the moment I can not check the next time I drive by for several months.

It is a print shop, been there a few years. Have heard good things about it. Just be sure to lock your car if you go there.

Yes, it's a print shop on the s/e corner of Juarez and the carretera. I think the correct spelling is "Siker". (It's actually the best one I've come across locally.)

The funny thing about the "11 car" theft story is that corner area CAN'T ACCOMMODATE anywhere near that many parked cars. It must have taken the car thieves all day long!
