Canadian Tax Refund Scam

A Canadian friend, living in SAT, tells me that there is some sort of the above mentioned topic.  It seems they received a bogus notice of a sizeable tax refund requiring the filling out of a form with bank info including pin nos. of debit/credit card in Canada on a supposedly Canadian Revenue heading.

Dave P, any knowledge of this, whatever it is??????

This one has been going around for a few years. Tell them to simply delete the e-mail. As per my accountant in Canada "Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will never, ever send anyone an e-mail about anything".
