Re: Pickpocket at Super Lake
WHAT KIDS? I often park at or near Super Lake either to check my mail or to pick up something at Super Lake. And luckily I don't see these kids. Why? Maybe because I usually go there at about 10 or 11 AM.
Sure I pay too much when I go to Panchos. So like most everyone else, when near Costco, etc., I stock up on products for perhaps 2/3 of what I would pay at Super Lake. There are two products that I can't find anywhere else and I have to have imported from the US (purchased at Super Lake) and they are Diet Caffeine Free Coke and Triscuits and I hate paying as much as I am charged. (although the price is probably fair)
So thank you for being their Pancho, but if any of you know where I can buy the local equivalent of the two products mentioned above for much less I would greatly appreciate how and where.

Pete, as far as I know there is no Mexican equivalent of Triscuits, nothing even close. So, a couple of times a year I pay the price and nibble each one very slowly and enjoy.

Trailrunner wrote:Nailed it, L.O.L.! I'm amazed at the underlying anger or resentment or whatever it is that causes people to express such vile comments regarding SuperLake. If a grocery store can illicit this much anger in a person, I'd hate to think what would happen to you if you got cancer maimed in a car crash or something. THAT is something to be angry about!
One poster on this thread actually joined just so he/she could slam Pancho and SL.
Be kind to Pancho, it's likely to be a hard year for him and his family.
IT'S A FRIGGIN' GROCERY STORE!!! Get over it.
Ok, many pros and a few cons. Trailrunner, my problem exactly. Many, many, many years ago due to Panchos negligence,I incurred substantial medical expenses. Although the employees were helpful Pancho was quite indifferent. He can charge and you can pay whatever you want. I don't care. I chose not to! Hard year for Pancho, I think Not. I joined in Sep. Only so I would have access to the Octagon. Always interesting! My post was 16 Jan.
Tio Bob May I suggest calling someone a coward you don't know or have never seen before and using your smiling face for an avatar may not be such a good idea! No problem from me. I'm to damn old to be fighting, but may not be the case for someone else! Can't afford to shop there. Another unknown by you. I "retired", stopped working at 44 and moved here at 49. I can buy anything I want anywhere I want, and do, just not Super Lake.
Luisa, careful who you side with, just sayin'! You don't know me either!
CBob, Kudos for sticking with your opinions!
Have a nice sunny warm day

Just went to the Coke web page and sadly the Coke Zero available to us has caffeine in it. Take a look at

Yea no wheat thins either but I have managed not to have a wheat thin in over a year now. Still want one bad..... LOL
See myself at Serenity Lane "Hi I am Zed and I am a crackerholic"....
By the way Coke life in green bottles is made with sugar and stevia. Small bottle is only 44 calories. Don't miss Coke Classico at all. Try it with rum.
(confessed coke addict who loves the taste of battery acid)

Ahhh another crackerholic.....LOL I would even take "Chicken in a basket" but if we could have "wheat thins and Triscuits I would be very very happy. I think I have tried ever single cracker and no comparision to the ones listed above.

On the plus side, and even at Walmart, you can get those thick Mexican dipping chips that don't break apart in the dip.
Ole Guacamole!

Ah, Pete, I see Coke Zero decaffeinated has a gold label like their other decaffeinated colas. I just heard that about Coke Zero the other day but I've never tried it.

Sadly the gold labeled decaff Coke Zero apparently isn't available down here.
