Us non-believers include the employees of the Interceramic store which is probably a kilometer or so from your house. Everyone but you is complaining about the lack of rain. The two fisherman set their net and decided to catch some sleep. A wave capsized the panga and they got tangled in their own net. All of the rest of the fisherman can't believe their stupidity. The two in Melaque were killed rescuing 2 kids that had no business playing in the surf. One drowned and the other died of a broken neck.
Don't let me rain on your hurricane parade, sparks, but Carlos ain't a hurricane.

I do not believe that people have died, and the two of you are arguing about how much rain fell.

People drown in the ocean everyday. It doesn't take a hurricane for that to happen. These storms form every year. Follow the same pattern by moving up the coast but rarely ever come ashore in sparks area. This last one caused no damage except for a small amount of beach erosion. The river Marabasco, which is nearby is still basically a trickle as is the arroyo Seco which is even closer. Sparks just likes playing weatherman but his exaggerations are not really helpful.
The storm had already gone ashore far north in Baja by the time the fishermen drowned.
