Need directions please.

I recall there is a very long street in Guadalajara where there are dozens of shops with tires and chrome rims; it goes on for several blocks.

Can someone give me very specific directions to that street from Lakeside?

Head into Guadalajara on the Chapala-Guadalajara highway. When you get to the exit for Lazaro Cardenas, continue straight on then get into the left lane and proceed around a slight left hand bend that becomes Gonzalez Gallo. Continue across and take a bear right at the traffic lights for Ejercito. Go north on Ejercito a short distance and make a left turn at the lights for 5 de Febrero. This is a one way street with car shops all the way along until you get near the main city bus terminal. Also, the next street north and parallel to it is Los Angeles which is a one way heading in the other direction (east). It has mostly wheel and rim stores and car stereo shops on it.

Actually the bus sounds like the best deal. I assume I just go to the Chapala bus station and say I want to go into Guadalajara? Only one bus station there?

I only need 5 lug bolts, but they are special deep ones with closed ends. No way to find them locally.

Just behind (near) the bus station sounds easy.

Yes, it is the Central city bus station (downtown) and the Chapala buses go there. Sometimes referred to as the "old" bus station. Exit the front entrance (west side) and turn to your right and walk up one block to Los Angeles street. Turn right on Los Angeles and walk along until you find what you need. Shops on both sides all along the street.

I would think the local tire shops could get those for you. I would try the Michelin store on the Libremiento (sp) or the Good Year store by Soriana's in Chapala.
