What's wrong with the ATMs in Chapala ?

Two of the past three times I have tried to use the ATM at the Chapala branch of Santander it has shut down mid transaction. Once it debited my account but did not dospense the money. Fortunatly B of A covered that. While trying to use the ATM people told me thay had had problems at the other ATMs in Chapala a few minutes earlier and that's why they were trying the Santander ATM.

Does anyone know what is goig on ? Is it a syetem wide problem in Chapala ? I am getting afraid to use the machine !

maybe it's a new tax....   

the only machine i use was just fine 2 days ago. i suspect the machines all have difernt operators so it's highly unlikely that they would all punk out at once.

The ATM I use in Chapala is operating just fine.
