Well you took it upon yourself to summarize my swearing throughout this very long thread so why not give a summary on the topic? Oh forget it, I'll do it. Alex doesn't like Mireles and is an admirer of the feds efforts in handling the situation. Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

Jeff, I chose to sum up your history of swearing and personal attacks on this thread after you complained about someone else’s swearing and personal attack. Use whatever language you choose (and can get away with) but do not be a hypocrite about it.
BTW, it was very simple to do that and took very little time. Some things just leap out of a post. A highlight, cut and paste takes even less time.

Little darling, my comment wasn't a complaint. Actually I was pointing out the hypocrisy of pedro and I being suspended for use of language that has been used by both ms twang and alex. Sarcasm goes right past your narrow mind. If, as you say, some words just "jump out" (like your dentures?) I ' m surprised you didn't list ms things and alex' use of profanity. You wouldn't want to be seen as a hypocrite, would you?

I was not surprised that you got suspended since you kept escalating the bad language the more you got away with it, but I was surprised that Repete got a few days off. He has been getting away with language and personal attacks for quite some time. I had assumed he was bullet proof. I think he did too.

You disappoint me, Jeff, with the personal attacks. I am sure you kill on the middle school play ground but here we have come to expect a better caliber of argument. And, what makes it even more disappointing is you were one of the posters who raised the bar right on this very thread. Are you getting tired, baby boy?

Really? Better calibre argument is what you have been getting. Smartalex has posted quite a number of fallacies and incorrect assumptions and correcting those gives a better calibre of argument. Otherwise all you would be getting is a highly subjective account provided by a gullible gringo Mexico neophyte with an extremely limited perspective.

I say we discuss this Castillo character and his smear campaigns since you have been parroting his BS for some time now. Just a few days ago I asked if Mireles was still being investigated for murder in the killings earlier this month. And the only media reports concerning him being investigated were quotes by Castillo. As much as you admire the feds handling of this situation in Michocan, didn't you find it odd that the very top federal official in charge of Michoacan was making such serious accusations (and possibly complete fabrications) in the press? You also swallowed the whole BS about the "trophy head" even actually accusing BB of intentionally refusing to publish the far from incriminating foto.

If the government is actually trying to restore the rule of law in Michoacan as you propose, they might try cleaning up their own act first.

Don't you think this getting a little tedious? I've already agreed that the government is waging a publicity campaign to "neutralize" the influence of both Mireles and the Autodefensas movement. I have also repeatedly tried to explain to you that the killings at Chuquiapan is not Castillo's case. It is being investigated by the attorney general of the state of Michoacan. He'll let you know the results of that investigation if and when he feels like it. Borderland Beat has yet to publish the actual photo that Castillo was referring to. Instead, they published a different photo from the event and said that Castillo's description did not match the photo. Well, duh....
