Anyone know where this is available locally?

I have never seen Pears soap in Mexico. You MIGHT find it in a little boutique somewhere in Mexico City, but it is not generally available. I looked on Amazon and it can be shipped internationally.

I jave never found it locally or in Guad. Usually stock up NOB.

Talk with Poncho at SuperLake. Maybe he will order some in.

That's a British soap. You would have to find a store which imports stuff from the U.K. In Guadalajara Reporter they often mention a British social club there, that's where you would find a store.

They sell Pears everywhere in Canada and the US. Since Poncho imports a lot of his items from the US I'm sure his supplier can get some.

Pears soap's formula has changed as of 2009. It is no longer the wonderful, natural product we all knew and loved.

Original ingredients: Sodium Palmitate, Natural Rosin, Glycerine, Water, Sodium Cocoate, Rosemary Extract, Thyme Extract, Pears Fragrance Essence.

New ingredients: Sorbitol, Aqua, Sodium Palmate/stearate, Sodium Palmkernelate, Sodium Rosinate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, PEG-4, Alcohol, Glycerin, Perfume, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Meta Bisulfite, Etidronic acid, Tetra Sodium EDTA, BHT, Cl 12490, Cl 47005, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool.



Will look for some local glycerine soap.

I use the Lirio soap in the picture it is very good and does not upset my skin like most bars of soap. Give it a shot.

I use the tan one and it looks like the one I use is antibacterial and the white one is not. I
find the tan one to be gentle, good to use in hard water like here and inexpensive. My skin
is picky and it only gets along with cotton and other natural fibers as a slightly flexible rule. I will try the white one as I am not sure I need antibacterial soap but I will attest it is my favorite soap. I don't break out in a minor but irritating rash like I do from most soaps and laundry detergents. A good product I believe.
