Not the job of the government to tell people what to eat or drink. Particularly the Federal government. Ain't in the Constitution.
Not their job, huh? Then alcohol and weed and birth control should be available to kids, too. Legislating morality ain't in the Constitution.
Story I get is those thing already are avaiable to all the kids. They just have more trouble getting alcohol because the have to buy that from a store.
Mexico really doesn't have a problem with those things, except maybe alcohol depending on who you listen too. Birth control is considered counter-productive here, or haven't you noticed?
Mexico has always been the dude next door who had a beer in his fridge when his neighbor the US's ol' lady wouldn't let him drink at home. The US is the neighbor that keeps wanting to cop a joint or anything else he can get his hands on. He's willing to pay and just wants his neighbor to keep him supplied, whatever the cost.
Seems his ol' lady turns out to be his mother that won't let her kids grow up and make their own choices. Now she's really honked and threatening all kinds of bad things. Her kids are the worst junkies in town and probably because she won't let them do nothing but keeps feeding them Big Macs and all kinds of crap to make them think she's a good mother. She thinks she's the role model for the whole PTA. Everyone else thinks she should just stay home and mind her OWN business.

ROFL. Was that deliberate?
Indeed.Birth control is considered counter-productive here, or haven't you noticed?

That's right, legislating morality ain't in the Constitution. When you reach the point that you have to try and use government to force people to be moral, you are screwed as a society.
And that is my assessment of NOB these days.

These days? Been screwed for a long time because they've been doing it for many years. Start with getting rid of prohibition then maybe tax exemptions for the superstitious.
