Most dangerous cities in the world
I found this to be interesting, especially since I know a few people who are taking a trip to Brazil.

All I can seem to get is number 1 and then it goes to a mouse. From this I've derived the following to plan to remain safe - Avoid Brazil and mice. And Brazilian mice. Perhaps also mice with Brazilians.

Re: Most dangerous cities in the world
Funny , when we were in Livingstone Guatemala, we found out that many people there take the ferry to San Pedro Sula to go shopping. every week. When we asked them if they were not afraid to go there, they laughed and said it was no different from other places where they went shopping, they just said be aware of your surroundings.
I was travelling with Mexican friends who were afraid to go into because of warnings they were getting from the Mexican government so we spent the night in a small Guatemaltec city. Most guys in the pick ups had visible weapons and some big ones, that did not make my friends feel safer but the hotel owner assured us that the town was very safe, that the gun showing off was cultural, that most of these guys were body guards as there was a lot of cartel activity in the area That sure make us feel way better..
The next day we crossed over into Honduras where the towns were way nicer that what we were in Guatemala and where they was no display of guns except for those of the army...We had a good laugh about it!
