CFE bill?

Anyone get theirs yet? After a few months of no meter, I finally got one & think the bills are due but I haven't gotten mine yet.

We get ours mid-month.

Ohhhh. I thought since Christmas is coming that it might be earlier. I assume the CFE office will be closed due to the holidays? Or do you pay at that place in San Antonio? I figured I'd just go to the Chapala CFE office.

I pay at OXXO or Walmart. BTW, I think CFE issues bills every week. Each area is on a schedule. We used to get ours the first week of the month, now it's the second.

Wonder when Riberas gets them. Guess I'll find out.

If you don't need the "official" statement of account, you can view and print your current bill via Internet (assuming you have the information to register) at:
http://www.cfe.gob.mx/Paginas/Home.aspx

It's useful for the information or if you don't get a bill. However, you cannot use it to pay your bill at any of the merchants or in the CFE machine.

Actually, David, that is only partially correct. You need the bar-code at the bottom for off-site payment, but....

When I was living in Riberas del Pilar, all my wife & I had was the computer printout. The young lady at the CFE information desk in Chapala took us to the machine, punched in the account number, etc. and inserted the money to pay our bill. That's all it took.

Ah right! I forgot you can enter the acct. number manually.

I couldn't get that site to load. If I don't get a bill by Monday, I'll take my copy of the contract & hope they can tell me how much I owe. Thanks for the info. I checked with Geoffrey at Cafe Mangana & he hadn't gotten his yet but thought we should have it this week sometime.
