Baseball steak and baked potato with that buttered half corn on the cob. Lots of other stuff too but those are the highlights for me.

The baseball filet is ridiculously good. It sort of pisses me off that I can no longer grill steak at home because theirs is so much better. But I'm not bitter. Much.

And to prove it. I know the little salad - the romaine with sesame seeds and nothing else - they serve beforehand on the '86 World Cup plates is kinda a joke, but I absolutely LOVE that garlicky dressing they dump on top of it. Am I the only fan of that dressing? Vicki's son (don't know his name?) is thinking about bottling and selling it....so if you love it as much as I do, please encourage him!

As said, they have other good stuff there, too. And the lunches are an obscene bargain. Yay Brunos.

Hahaha! You know what's funny? I KNOW they're sunflower seeds! In the past, I never bothered to correct him, but I think I saw JohninAjijicRaleigh misidentify them so many times I must have just channeled it.

There must be some kind of carma involved in that.

I will have to try their bargain lunches one of these days too. (Notice I did not say "cheap.")

Well. since everyone is piling on, so will I.
Took guests from US there on Tues...all had baseball filets and all were delighted. The place was full, so the word around must be good. They do try hard.
Kilo for kilo, peso for peso...best deal in town.
Vicki is also at the Mon. market, Hole-in-one, selling some of her stuff.

It's not very full for lunch and it's such a treat. Most lunch entrees are 55 pesos for really good food. I just had the steak sandwich, a nice piece of steak as you like it with your choice of side dish. One of my favorite lunch places.
